Kahla was bitten by the marketing bug after growing up coordinating tourists on her father's sports fishing charter operation in Far North Queensland. Kahla's key experience is Marketing Coordination, having worked for one of Australia's largest corporate printing companies. In holding a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing, Kahla brings a variety of skills in customer service, needs satisfaction and project management as well as a strong mix of tenacity, persistence and passion to the Aurora table.

What is the best thing about the marketing work we do?

Growing with the client and achieving as the clients achieve. The type of relationship Aurora Marketing has with their clients is one that is both rare and very rewarding.

What is the most important thing businesses need to focus on to survive and prosper in today’s competitive environment?

Planning ahead, prioritising effectively and delegating appropriately are necessary in order to survive the wild terrain that is business.

Favourite holiday destination?

Mission Beach, Far North Queensland. Going home to visit the family is my first port of call (it's an easy choice when Dad takes out fishing/reef charters for a living).

If you didn’t work in marketing, what would you be doing?

Travelling the globe. Preferably as a Getaway presenter.
