Tauree Kohl has had an infatuation with numbers since she was a little girl. She launched her career in accounting at the age of 19 and has over 10 years of experience. Tauree's qualifications include a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting. She advanced to CPA status in 2006. Her role at Aurora Marketing includes overall management of the day-to-day finances, invoicing and client relations. Tauree is the go-to-girl for all things finance.

What is the best thing about the marketing work we do?

Aurora Marketing is an exciting and growing business; it has developed unique relationships with clients and team members. Everyone has a strong love for the work they do which makes it so rewarding to see our clients win major bids.

What does our value of ‘Quality’ mean to you?

Quality can mean so many things but for me it is really about using everything I have (encompassing my skills and experience) to ensure my high standard is never compromised. I always strive to deliver beyond expectations whilst continually looking for areas to improve. You can never stop learning!

What is the most important thing businesses need to focus on to survive and prosper in today’s competitive environment?

Keeping one step ahead all the time and ensuring all processes are in place to run efficiently and effectively, and continually looking for improvements to give clients a better service each time.

Favourite holiday destination?

I love travelling and my favourite destination so far would have to be Tuscany for the scenery, food and the wine! I would love to explore the south coast of Italy one day...

If you didn’t work in marketing, what would you be doing?

Does Chief Financial Officer count as marketing? Hmm, let see... I think I should just stick to finances really, I can't really see myself as a famous actress or singer...my talents just wouldn't make me any money in this area!
